Orienteering
Sports have always played a role in my life, first playing handball and then starting my career in orienteering. Being a member of the Italian national team allowed me to take part in European- and World Championships. Now my focus is more on team- activity like organizing races/trainings and work with the young. I work as a Geriatrician at Merano Hospital and live with husband and two children at Terlano (South Tyrol).
Orienteering: running discipline, where you have to localize marked checkpoints in the terrain with the help of map and compass.
