Lesson Overview

Muscle Care and Recovery

This practical lesson focuses on muscle care, recovery, and body awareness through self-massage techniques using tennis balls. Students learn how to identify areas of muscle tension and use simple tools to release tightness, improve mobility, and support post-exercise recovery.

The session combines short theoretical explanations about muscle recovery with guided practical exercises. Students work individually, in pairs and in small groups to explore different rolling and pressure techniques for various muscle groups (back, shoulders, legs and feet). The use of tennis balls makes the exercises accessible, low-cost, and suitable for all age groups and fitness levels.
