In our first session, we will start with the basic terminology and the most recent rule changes. Participants will get an introduction to the official Roundnet equipment and learn fundamental ball-handling skills. A sport-specific warm-up and cool-down will also be guided. This lesson is the foundation and mandatory for all following classes.

In this lesson, we focus on hitting techniques. Participants will learn how to execute different attacking options, such as open, push, pull, and flick hits. With the help of targeted drills, you will practice how to finish plays effectively-both after an optimal set and under less favorable conditions.

Serving and receiving are crucial to creating successful rallies. In this session, we will highlight the importance of serve consistency in generating pressure, as well as the role of a strong receive in enabling good offensive options. Through progressive drills, participants will develop the skills needed to improve their serve-and-receive game.

This lesson is all about creating longer and more exciting rallies. We will explore both defensive and offensive strategies in Roundnet, focusing on positioning, anticipation, and transitions. In addition, recent rule changes designed to reduce serve dominance and encourage extended rallies will be introduced and practiced.

In our final session, we will think outside the traditional Roundnet circle. Participants will experience fun and creative variations such as 3+ vs. 3+ on two nets, as well as different Bounce adaptations of the standard game. These variations will broaden tactical understanding and bring fresh perspectives to Roundnet play.
