Joy Earned Through Effort in PE

Ilona: Since 1998 I have been working at Versme's middle school as a pysical education teacher, leading different after school activities, coaching children for and through various sports competitions and championships. I lead the Physical Education Teachers Methodological Group in the city of Klaipda. In 2016, I was awarded the title of Expert Teacher. In 2019, I completed the Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) facilitator training and received the qualification to conduct introductory OVEP training sessions for educators in Lithuania. Currently I lead these sessions all around Lithuania. Ingrida: Since 2003, I have been working at Lithuania, Alytus District, Miroslavas gymnasium as a physical education teacher, leading various after school activities, coaching children, and participating in different sports competitions and championships. I'm also teaching and working with a program called YouthCan, this program let's us work with the youth. The goal of Youth Can program is to create a safe, supportive, and positive environment where every young person can grow, discover their potential, and believe in their future. In 2024, I was awarded the title of Expert Teacher. In 2019, I completed the Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) facilitator training and received the qualification to conduct introductory OVEP training sessions for educators in Lithuania. Currently, I lead these sessions across Lithuania.

Doing Your Best in Pursuit of Excellence

Participants will enhance their physical, behavioral, and cognitive competencies through structured physical activity, movement, games, and sports. By engaging in personal and group challenges, they will explore the connection between effort, resilience, and the sense of achievement that comes from active participation.

In this session, participants will explore how to make positive, healthy choices and commit to being their best in any chosen area of life or activity. The lesson promotes personal growth, motivation, and excellence through active engagement, reflection, and practical strategies for continuous improvement.
