Roller luge is a summer variant of luge. Instead of riding on snow, athletes ride downhill on asphalt roads or designated mountain tracks using a specially adapted sled with small wheels. The technique and body position are similar to classic competition luge, but speed and control are adjusted to the solid surface and the use of wheels.
