Lesson Overview
AcroYoga: Intro
AcroYoga: Upside down
Together, we will explore the basics of this discipline, so you can understand its fundamentals and potentially integrate them into your teaching. Acroyoga is practiced with at least two people, but it is not required to come with a partner. In fact, one of the key aspects of this practice is to create new connections.
In this class, we will focus on inversions, which are all the poses where the flyer is upside down. Our proprioceptive system and our senses, in general, are not accustomed to orienting in these positions, which is why it's beneficial to get used to them with the help of a partner or partners. Participation is recommended for those with at least some experience in acroyoga or inversions
