Lesson Overview

Fast Cornering

Balance and Stability

Braking Technique

In this exercise series, participants are methodically introduced to fast cornering techniques using scooter-style exercises. This method allows riders to feel and understand the dynamics of balance, traction, and lean angle without the distraction of pedaling. Fast cornering is a key skill for mastering control on gravel or slippery surfaces. The goal of the lesson is to increase safety and confidence in high-speed turns through progressive, playful practice.

During this lesson, participants will develop their sense of balance on the bike through a series of progressive drills and games. Balance is the foundation of all advanced riding techniques — from slow-speed control to technical trail sections. The focus lies on body positioning, weight distribution, and coordination. The exercises are designed to strengthen both confidence and fine motor control while riding.

In this lesson, participants are introduced to both the basics and advanced methods of effective braking. The training focuses on improving safety and control through an understanding of front and rear brake dynamics, body position, and traction management. Through step-by-step progression, riders will learn to brake with precision — even on steep or uneven terrain — building the foundation for smooth and confident riding.
